10 brilliant ways to piss people off

piss off

1. Ask people to prove everything they say.
(e.g. "I'm Bob, nice to meet you..."
"PROVE IT!")
2. At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hair dryer at passing cars. See if they slow down.
3. Develop an unnatural fear of staplers.
4. Every time someone asks you to do something, ask them if they want fries with that.

5. Finish all your sentences with the words "in accordance with prophecy."
6. Move people's bookmarks ahead three pages when they aren't looking.
7. Name your dog "Dog."
8. On the public bus, keep asking the driver nervously, "Are we there yet?"
9. Recite Shakespearian poetry to everyone you meet.
10. Staple papers in the middle of the page.

I'm dead bored.

Ho. Hum.

I love numbers 3 and 4 the most:

i hate it when people name their dog "dog", or their cat "puss" . . . can they really come up with nothing better? haha

I had a cat called cat once.
What is wrong with that?

Good list.

6 and 8 are brilliant.

'Dog' is better than 'Spot'. Anything is better than 'Spot'...

My kids sometimes accidentally take the bookmark from my books and put it back in wherever. I'll be reading along for about five pages and suddenly think - wait I've read this. I hate to think how many times I've actually missed pages.

But I'm not sure how you staple pages in the middle of the page when you have an unnatural fear of staplers.

Hi Louella,

Another fun post!

I used to engage in # 2 activity often when in the corporate world.

Nowadays it's a lot of # 5 and 6 *chuckle*

Lilla ...

The picture is so funny.

I would add "dis-appreciative inquiry technique" to the list.

One of my favourites to do is when people tailgate you at night take a photo throuh the back windscreen on your cell phone with the flash on.

It really freaks them out.

I'd have to say I like number 6 the best...

I've known many people name their cat Kitty.. It's personal choice what you name your pet... By the way, I have a dog named Spot- named him when I like like 5. No matter how unoriginal you may think the name is, how many people do you know with a dog named Spot? I have never met one person with a dog named Spot (besides myself), and I've spent YEARS working with animal shelters, pet stores, and dog training, all combined.
